hey beautiful readers! so sorry I haven't posted yet again in forever. this IS going to change. I promise. :)
so I am going to start right into showing you guys some pretty awesome pictures of things I am loving...
these are taken from tumblr and pinterst. I am OBSESSED with tumblr. its like one of my top things I check every day!:) its awesomeness... so let's get started!;)

in love with long dresses. :) think I am going to maybe even make one soon if I can talk Grandma into helping me!;)

Hunger Games...don't know much about it, but love Taylor Swift ft. Civil War's song for it and and maybe going to read the books!:)

Workouts-well I really need some muscle strengthening...not lying...these muscles aren't very strong. haha. but i want to work on it! I have done some working out in my days....but I haven't stayed on a serious schedule for very long since Dad's leg broke. which was 2 years ago. :/
this past year and this year I have done some but I want to do BETTER!
so far this week I have jogged/walked twice for 20 minutes...yesterday that did include me starting off and increasing in speed but today it didn't. we did that before starting the 20 minutes. Esther and I did jogging and then walking and we jogged about 3 times walking in between. :) it was hard, but felt good. it was cold, but hey! ;) we are determined. we will do it again Friday and then if we feel led, on Saturday again!:)

I hope you guy's February is going fab. I want to say also, that I have some awesome friends. right now, some of the closest people in my life are ADULT friends. ;) I love them...I think they know who they are ;) hahahaha.

I feel like I should have been posting so many more posts...I am so sorry. :( I want to be a more consistent blogger....hmmmm...
how is life going for you all? its keeping busy for me...with long days of high school and evenings filled with different things...
so excited for this weekend though!:) Travis is back in Kansas and we are having Christmas this weekend. :) also tomorrow night we are having some friends over for games, and I am super excited.
on another note, I have started back up with a workout routine...I will see how long it lasts. right now its 15 minutes Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I started it back up this week! I will probably increase the time some times but for right now I am sticking with 15 minutes...last time I worked out, well my pelvis got all out of alignment! so I took a break...mom and dad said I would probably be ok not to worry about working out until then maybe the summer bringing in some more activity, but I am going to use the George Foremen DVDs and do these little workouts for a while!:)
well, I hope you guys have a fantabulous evening, and I will be posting hopefully, every other day or so or maybe even everyday! :) or at least I will promise to try and post more!!! :D

hey readers...so, as I sit here with a freshly brushed mouth, warm footie pjs, a clean body, clean braided hair...its crazy how my day went by so fast! I mean didn't I just wake up to my alarm with a very nauseated stomach not to long ago? (not to worry, it was only because I was EXTREMELY hungry) another school day down, another review day for exams, another day in life...all almost gone. its amazing and crazy at the same time! don't ever take for granted another week or day to live...each day, whether good or bad, treasure it and remember, it was another day Jesus allowed you to live.

on a side note-I am loving GOD GIRL by Hayley DiMarco. :] Its such a great read I totally encourage anyone to read it! also, with Christmas money I bought THE HELP and I am SO excited to dig my eyes into that book! I need to finish two books before that....oh dear. :O :) Here is the trailer for the movie that I CANNOT wait to see....

its a crazy Christmas. . .

sitting here at my Grandma and Grandpa Wright's house. . .surrounded by two aunts, an uncle, my family, my cousins, my great-grandma, my step-great-grandpa, and my grandparents. its crazy around here but its who we are! hashing over different things, kids making lots of noise playing, Grandma in the kitchen, yeah, its crazy, but its WHO we are. :)
yes, we are having our Christmas late, but what's better then being able to celebrate Christmas for two months instead of one!?:) after this Christmas, we still have another one later this month!:) i be how we roll!

Hey all!:) its been FOREVER. and that is now going to change. I am back into the "mood" of blogging! wow. I want to blog!:) first things first! ITS 2012! oh my goodness! I have so many goals/resolutions for this year...its kinda crazy! lol. one of them is to read 20 books or more. I am going to count the one I was reading last year and am still getting through...I don't read in it everyday but I am going to count that as one of my 20...I still have more the half of it to read. :) then I started another book tonight that I have been wanting to start and I am so excited to finish it.

I borrowed it from my best friend Carly who is in the picture there with me beside this post:) anyway, I am super excited to read this book and apply it to my life.

Another thing I am starting up this year, actually Esther and I started it last year but it is going to grow in this year and that is my inspiration book. its just a simple sketch book from hobby lobby and I decorated the front, and through the year I am going to be adding inspiring quotes, pictures, verses, whatever! I am so excited. :) I definitely encourage you to do that! Esther and I actually did a video of it on our channel www.youtube.com/mjwsjw :) its the DIY-Inspirational Book and Snowglobe video! and ps..I am so happy with my snowglobes:)

I am thankful for my best friends...I have some very close friends in my life and friends who are good friends too :) I am sooo thankful for Leah and Carly Rosey! they are two girls I can tell things too and we can talk and laugh and just be absolute best friends!! and Angela and David Winkler...go to their house for some funn farm times! we usually always have a great time together!!...and Brianna Dotson-miss you girl!!!...and Brianna Geise-glad we can chat even when we are farr away from each other!...and all of my friends! :) and my friends on facebook....and etc... etc....

so sorry. I have been busy....but I COULD have taken time to post. but I didn't. :( and I am sorry.

I am just going to do today actually and say I am thankful for adoption. It is an amazing experience....I got to be a witness and a part of an adoption today for my first first cousin ever! like, I didn't have any first cousins until today ;) it was so much fun and such a great experience...it is so touching, wonderful, and just awesome. I definitely want to adopt when I get older....and we might even eventually adopt. :) I don't know that for sure so don't start any rumors ;) I just know that we would love to eventually....

its awesome and so wonderful of people to reach out to children who need a safe, loving, and warm family! :) and I got to be a part today...and it is something I will never, never forget! ;)

sorry I missed a day:(
but I am thankful for Jesus Christ and His dying on the cross for our sins!!! That is the best gift one could ever give! (that kinda ties into Christmas as well:)
I am also thankful for books. the bring you into a whole new world or fill your brain with extra knowledge and bring tears to your eyes, laughter, and just a lot of fun! I want to be an avid book reader but sometimes that just doesn't happen. :p I am keeping track of every book I read and then at the end of the year, I will have to post every book I read and what I thought of it...or maybe a video would be easier :) I am working on, in school, a essay on influentiral literature. I will have to post it...maybe through video as well. (its long lol)

tonight, my mom and us four kiddos did our Christmas shoebox shopping! it is always so much fun buying stuff for a little boy or girl or a teen boy or girl and finding things you like to give to that someone. we always enjoy this tradition SO much. I am thankful for having the money and the resources and having my parents who can get us the things we need....and the fun stuff too! we have SO much to be grateful for....

today I am thankful for...heaven. knowing that one day I will see people again...people I love and treasure and miss. heaven is definitely going to be amazing. today I am very thankful to my online teachers:) they have taught me things for school and for life.
I am very, very thankful for Mrs. Schmuck. :) she is my favorite teacher....
last year we received a Christmas card from ABA and it had a picture of all the teachers. and Mrs. Schmuck was there! and last year's English class had been recorded the 09-10 year and so I knew it was recent and I didn't think that she would just leave like that! so I emailed the school and they said she was very sick and to pray...so I sent a get well email and then just today I received an email from her husband, Ron.
He said that she is now resting in the arms of Jesus...her bone marrow cancer came back in an acute form of leukemia and she passed away. I was so sad...I was just devastated to find that out....

Please play for the Schmuck family right now....and be thankful for you teachers!!!

today I am thankful for my computer...or all of our 7 computers in our house for that matter! and the internet and all that fun, geeky, techy stuff! It can be bad but it can be used for good and fun as well! I have grown up in this environment and know that its not going to stop! its going to keep getting better! I also am sooo thankful for my cellphone! I have not had to pay one cent on it except on the three cases I bought for it! I am so thankful to my aunt and uncle and their willingness to do this for me! it has been a huge blessing! especially like when mom AND dad are gone and I need something etc. its great to have my own personal phone to text or call with. :)

today I am thankful my dad is still here with us. :) most of you have heard that on March 20, 2010, our lives were changed...forever. my dad's leg broke and then found out it had cancer in it and to get rid of it, they have to amputate his whole right leg. now the cancer has come back into his lungs and he just finished chemo for that. he is done now and will just have CT scans every 3 months and they are just going to be monitoring the hopefully shrinking tumors! the last scan he had was showing that they really didn't do much but some inflammation that was in his lungs had gone down...and a doctor my aunt talked to (who is actually a cousin of Obama :O ) said that that because they didn't show a lot of signs of shrinking or growing that maybe they were in a process of dying.

anyway, I am very thankful that he is still here with us! and I hope God allows him to stay for still a long long time....:)
thanks dad for being who you are! I know this has been the hardest on you these past months...but I wouldn't be who I am without you and mom.

I love you Dad!

I am also very thankful for my mom! she does so much around here for us kids...she teaches, cleans, does laundry, takes care of us, cooks, etc, etc, etc!!! I love you Mom!! thank you for everything you do for us!!! I know its been so hard for you through all this and yet you still keep on keeping on and being here for us! thank youu!! I wouldn't be the person I am without you.

I wouldn't be here without either of you! so thank you very much for that too! and raising me up! :)

today I am thankful for God's Word. Each day either in school or on my own or both I enjoy reading, studying verses for school, listening to my Bible teacher teach, etc. Right now, one of my favorite books is Proverbs. It is amazing...it has so many wonderful little pieces of wisdom.
I have several favorite Bible people but one of my most favorite is Esther....of course Jesus is AWESOME but Esther...she was amazing. I want her to be my role model!! her courage was so......strong.
Have any of you seen "One Night With The King"? if not, I HIGHLY suggest you all check it out...either on Netflix, at the library, or buy it...
Its one of my top top favorite movies......eva.

today I am thankful for my education....its tough. school is. so. tough. sometimes.....but I am thankful! and I am thankful for my parents being willing to pay for it and my mom teaching/helping! today is one of those days where we didn't get started as early as we would like, we are a bit behind, I have quite the load of homework, but I am thankful........or I am trying to be?! :P

hey readers! I was going to put this up on Tuesday...but that didn't happen. I am sorry!
Free Verse-
Free verse is poetry whose rhythm is close to the natural rhythm of normal speech. Free verse is usually unrhymed, and it relies on the repetition of sounds, words, and lines.

This poem was in my literature book for school:

Primer Lesson

Look out how you use proud words.

When you let proud words go, it is not easy to call them back.

They wear long boots, hard boots; they walk off proud, the

Pretty powerful right?! Well we had this assignment-

Write About It

Using Sandburg's "Primer Lesson" as a model, write your own poem personifying another character quality. Describe how it moves around and what kind of footwear it uses. Endurance might wear a pair of worn-down running shoes; Grace might wear a pair of ballet slippers, etc.

So, this is what I came up with with very little help from my mom! she did think of the cleats used but I pretty much came up with the rest :)

Courage

bullying..

today a music video by a couple of girls on youtube who Esther and I enjoy watching and listening to came out. its a song that Megan and Liz wrote.
it shows that Liz (the popular girl) bullies Megan...but then on the inside Liz aka the popular girl is very sad deep down because people are saying she isn't pretty or HOT. that is another form of bullying. So Liz, because she is being very hurt, is hurting-bullying-the girl played by Megan.
I also just got done reading a book about autism and bullying tied together in one. in that book, UNLOCKED by Karen Kingsbury, one boy ends up killing himself. he wanted to get out of it but it was too late and his mom couldn't hear him...
my mom told me usually when they commit suicide is a call of help. they are calling out wanting someone to care.
it is really, really sad. my sisters and I-thank you Jesus!-don't have to deal with bullying from going to a school...but there can always be bullying...its just more likely in public schools...and maybe even Christian schools.
Megan and Liz were bullied in middle school....I have never been "bullied"...but any of you out here who have, I am SO sorry.

sorry I haven't blogged in several days...been pretty busy! =)

I went to my cousin Kayla Miley's birthday party and we had a photo contest and scavenger hunt. we had five different categories in the photo contest and we had to take pictures of those things...my cousin Kristel and I went to the cemetary and these are some I got. :) not all of these did I enter in the contest though. the categories where flower, person, animal, tree, and leaf. but we got several different pictures and then chose one for each and entered! then Kayla's friends she invited which where 5 girls each one in a category. me the leaf category:)

the air has that crispness in it, the leaves will soon be changing colors, rainy days, candles burnng, big sweaters, hayrides, bonfires, boots, and scarves...yes, it is that time of year again :) I absolutely love fall. and everything involved...
what is your favorite part of fall? or your favorite season?
I am SO excited about this fall and winter. Like beyond ready to be wearing only warmer clothes, but it still gets a little on the warmish side some days...but yesterday, I wore a sweatshirt yesterday when we got home from church! =) I loved it!!

nope, it CAN NOT BE RAINING! but it is....we have to, have to, have to, play a big game of tag after barn camp tonight. its a tradition. but, right now, it looks like it might be crushed to the ground with these raindrops. it might pass by the time we get done with service, but then it will be oh so muddy. =P

hopefully we will get a while in of tag, and that it will quit raining soon. this is the day I wish it WASN'T raining, but other days, its fine...when we don't have priorities like playing tag to do! =D

speaking of that band, it says "Remember Reagan" and "2 Cor. 1:3-7" on it in rememberance of a little boy named Reagan that we knew who got ran over and died =( he wasn't really related but that family could basically be our family =) it was so sad =( I have been wearing it almost everyday since we got them! its blue and white!

hello readers! how has your week been? mine has been absolutely good! lol :] we went over to the fair last night annnnnd (insert drum roll here) I got third place on one of my photos at the fair! first time to enter with lots of competion there I think I did pretty good! :] we had a lot of fun walking around, riding the ferris wheel, and one of my favorite things every year, looking at the horses. man those things are beauties! :]

this picture I took on Jacqueline's phone...then I sent it to my phone and put it on facebook and edited it! lol

the 2nd week of August :)

today we headed over to the fairgrounds to drop off a couple of pictures that I took :) I entered them in the photography and now they will be judged eventually! there were a lot of pictures....so...if I don't get anything this year, I will just have to try again next year! its fun to enter anyway. :) this is one of the pictures I entered-

the other one that I entered is the same picture only just cropped and brightened. this one up here went under digital manipulation and the other one went under just color. :) the digital manipulation one is an 8x10 and the other one a 5x7! mom and I went and picked out mats to go around them! when I get them back on Sunday, I will try to take some pictures...and I can post them!

how is your week going so far? mine is going exceptionally well! yesterday not much happened...mom and I went and picked up my pictures from Walmart and went to Hobby Lobby to get the mats...while I was there I found something I just couldn't pass up! I could have gotten lots of other cute hair accessories buuuut, I am not rich! lol.

isn't that just darling? I am so excited to have it! :) it was only $4.99! I was going to get one of a website....buuut this way I think it was cheaper AND I didn't have to pay shipping!

today we of course dropped my pictures off this morning and then in a while we are headed off to an appointment for Julie and then school supply shopping! yay! that is one of my favorite yearly things! and I am also so excited to start school back up.. weird huh? I am going to be a freshmen! this evening Jac is coming over for a sleepover! that will be funn!

then tomorrow we are just here as far as I know....and then in the evening one of my favorite families is coming over! actually two are coming! Ken and Carol are coming back through and staying one night on there way back to Ohio and then the lovely Winkler family is coming up for ice cream and to get somethings from my grandma! :) we are gonna have fun!

Thursday evening we are heading to the fair in the evening after cooking lessons and dinner at my grandma's...Friday, well, um...I will tell you about it later because I don't know exactly who all will read my blog and that is all I am going to say :D ;)

howdy people! I am so tired right now. my head hurts....and my eyes. I just want to sleep....but I also want to read some....or watch something...but I might have to just go to bed eventually. it will be too miserable to force my eyes....I might be able to read some or something....but all I really feel like doing is curling up and sleeping at least till noon tomorrow.

my trip to Branson was very fun and camp was awesome! also, I got a letter from someone today that makes me smile and laugh :) so that was awesome :) this person is a close, best, and special friend!

very random and short post, but I am still alive and well (except for a bit of allergies that are going away I think) and still here!! I will try to post some pictures and post more this week! don't give up on me now!

my weekend...and my week ahead!

hey, hey! it has been one busy, busy weekend! but lots of laughs and fun! we had the Wright-Kimbler Family Reuinion on Saturday, so that was kinda fun! There weren't a lot of people there. but my favorite part was probably hanging out with my new little cousin....Jonathan and Darla's new little foster baby! :) also there were some funny times and laughing! that was fun too. then that evening I went to my Grandma's to finish my skirt I was making with my Grandma Englund. :] it is super, super cute! this morning I just have to finish the hem on it with my mom. then Sunday was church and then we came home for a few hours...maybe 3? and then headed to Kenny and Darlene's for another part of the reuninon so to speak and had food and fun times with the family. Mostly because we had out of town family. Aunt Puzy, Uncle Dave, Danielle, and Dwayne :) they are lots of fun and we enjoyed our time with them. Oh, and since we are mentioning them....Danielle and Dwayne stayed at our house on Friday night! we stayed up pretty late talking and playing on the Wii!

by the way, we got a Wii! :D its lots of fun and a way to get active....and sweaty! lol!!

this morning I am waiting on my dadda to finish getting ready to leave them I will tell him goodbye for the week and probably just have some quiet time for a bit...before the rest of the family gets up and moving for the day. we will probably leae my house by 12:15 or 12:30...or maybe earlier IF i can talk my mom into something to eat on the way ;)

I will miss blogging, facebooking, and tweeting! but I can do some of that from my phone! ;) so I won't be totally gone!!!!

So remember how I posted a post about getting the book Leaving? well, the main character is Bailey Flanigan. She is such an inspiration! I love her so much! And Karen Kingsbury is writing this story and using her daughter Kelsey to be Bailey because Kelsey left for college, etc. and Bailey's whole family in the book is exactly Kelsey's except different names :) so Karen, is Jenny in the book playing Bailey's mom. :) neat huh? well, anyway, Bailey (aka Kelsey) has a facebook page and she is always posting the most encouraging verses, thoughts, or quotes. I just absolutely love her page! So those two up there? they came from her page. I posted the first one as my status on facebook. love it!

Anyway, thought I would share that little bit with you....hope you can read those books! I am on the 2nd one in the series and can't wait for the 3rd one to come out! :D

hey beautifuls! :) I am super, super busy the next two-three weeks! so, not so much blogging for a while =P sad I know. I will try to blog this weekend when I get a chance.
so, next week I am headed to McPherson, KS for the family camp down there...but I am going with my 2nd family the Winklers :) that will be lots of funn! I hope everything will go smoothly. pray for me if you think of it! that is one of the decisions I made....

2nd week is trip to Branson! me with my sistas are going there with my Grandma and Grandpa Englund and then Eric and Ashlee are joining us in the middle of the week.

3rd week-we come home and get back into routine and its fair week here in town and I am entering photography :)

4th week-whew just home and about with all that will happen.
August 29th-school starts! whohoo!! :)

so that is what is going to be going on with me...lots I know. I am packing the last few weeks of my summer full!! =)

hey lovelies! today me and my mamma and siblings went to the Coterie Theater here in Kansas City and saw the musical, "The Wiz." It was really funny and good and we really enjoyed it! no one was allowed to take pictures but I found these on the internet :-) and here is a video to watch about it...just thought I would share! we really enjoyed ourselves!!!

also, if you read this post, I could really use some prayer on a couple of big decisions I am to make by tomorrow. and one maybe tonight. I want to do both but also there are some cons to both in a way...especially the one next week. and ugh and ugh! I just don't know what to do. this is when I wish God wrote answers on a piece of paper in front of you. unfortunately, He doesn't.

hello readers! sorry I have been gone for a while...I have checked my blog, just not posted. bad me. sorry. I will try to do better. what shall I blog about? well, today I decided to do something super fun. I had read about the idea in my devotional blog or something similar...so today I thought of it and was so excited to do it! :]

so I took a big sized scrapbook page, some of my fav pictures of mine and other pictures, small pieces of scrapbook paper (and of course scissors, tape, and a pen :-)) and wrote down some special quotes and scripture to me! and put the pics on there. I know its not the greatest photo, but is what I could do quickly ;) I am going to hang it somewhere in my room and I hope it cheers me up and makes me smile when I see it!

what's on my mind...

well, my mind is full of stuff...not all of it can I say/or its personal stuff so I am not going to say it here publicly but some of it I can...
my dad starts chemo tomorrow and it starts a crazy week of that. him being sick, us being watched by other people, the roller coaster of CANCER. that word has totally changed our lives. and half in a negative way but in a positive way too. you may think its weird I would say that but this has brought from my perspective closerness (not a word but im making it one) with my siblings and growing closer to God, growing closer to our immediate families and close friends...and just realizing really what it means to live day to day in our world...wow. not all of this was exactly "on my mind" so to speak but its coming as I type. it might go a lot better then expected but it might go worse then expected. actually we aren't sure what to expect except dad being sick and it being another roller coaster. tonight I have just not been myself exactly...just kinda laying/sitting around quietly thinking...watching stuff and just keeping to myself quite a bit. tomorrow is going to be very busy and I don't exactly feel like tackling the day but it might help if I could get a soild night's sleep...so I need to be thinking about bed soon. I will probably try to get up at a decent time in the morning :) and clean the bathrooms and my room up for company that is coming tomorrow night. then do my violin and get ready to go to my Grandma's house to get ready for our big dinner we are doing tomorrow night for my parents anniversary! its a meal I planned and us two girls are helping cook because we are doing it for our cooking lessons!

this week I hope to include a good sleepover and country day with my besties David and Angela Winkler and their family...we hope to do a rodeo and maybe the pool if they get it back to where we can :) i need some country air again...maybe that would help me a bit...I will just have to see if we can ride up to the pasture again...that is so much funnn!!!

well, I will try to do a more cheery post soon. one that doesn't bring my readers down. sorry if you are gloomy now. a blog is suppose to be about your life, right? what about a fashion post tomorrow? okie dokie that would be a yes! ;)

hey beautifuls and handsomes! :] just to let you all know, I am kinda getting my ideas from the book "The Inside-Out Beauty Book" by Sandra Byrd! today, I am going to be taking a lot of ideas from her book.
the first thing you usually look at in a person is their hair. the color etc. from this book we see this,
"The phrase "bad hair day" has become a part of our vocabulary, and we use it to describe anyonewho might be crabby. Why? Because too much of our mood depends on what our hair looks like."
I have to admit...I am always worried about my hair...:P oops! but, Sandra gives us a great idea.

"Time on Hair=Time in Prayer
How much time each day do you spend onyou hair? We all want hair that looks lovely, that shines, that is attractive to ourselves and to others. But what really makes us attractive? The most important shine we have is the light we shine into the world-that attracts others to the One who is in us, Jesus Christ.

Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:16 (from me-lovely verse isn't it?)

Tune in to Him through prayer to know wht good deeds to do. Here's a simpe equation: time on hair = time in prayer. If you spend ten minutes a day brushing, styling, or checking on you hair, be sure you spend ten minutes a day praising, talking with, and spending time with God. It doesn't have to be all at once-five minutes twice a day is good, too. You can start a prayer notebook-write down your prayer requests, and then when it is answered write down the date and how it was answered. When you're feeling blu, you can look back over them and gain faith and courage. You'll be someone whose inner beauty lights u everything around you, and that's the beauty that counts!"

Wow. What a great little equation to use. I need to do that :] and like it says at the end "that's the beauty that counts!" really, it is. and let me give you another little hint-people don't like you for how you look...they like you for who you are!

Recipe for today-
"Remember, healthy hair comes from a healthy body. Once it's out of the scalp, though, you can condition it to keep it in good, smooth shape. Buy a gentle conditioner to partner with your shampoo, and for extra-special care, mix up a special treat for your tresses.

Tropical Conditioner
You'll need:
1 avacado (peeled and mashed)
light coconut milk
Combine the mashed avocado with some coconut milk. Mash together until it's smooth and about as thick as shampoo. Comb it through the hair and let it sit for ten to fifteen minutes. Wash out."

So-how cool is that?

do you ever wish you could do something that the world does? paint your nails, cut your hair, wear makeup or jewelery? of course you probably do! but, God made you beautiful the way you are! I struggle sometimes with that wish of being able to do that. but really, all of those things don't last. you paint your nails, and they chip, you cut your hair, and it grows and you have to go spend money all over again, you wear makeup, and it takes so much time and energy and money....all of these things make you happy right at first but in the long run, it wears you out and its frustrating! and if you just leave yourself the way you are, it doesn't take near as much time, energy, and money! and God made you beautiful anyway. what really truly makes you happy is having Jesus in your life.
I feel like as I am typing I am telling myself these things...because I was just struggling with this last night.

todays recipe is something that helps make your hair shiny! :] its just a fun little recipe that only costs maybe a 1.00 lol!

you take one lemon (mashed) and 12 oz. of purified water and mix them together and use it to spray on your hair! :)

pretty simple and fun! I will probably make it soon!

here's is a fun recipe to try-
(taken from a new favorite book-"The Inside Beauty Book" by Sandra Byrd)

"A lotion bar is a solid lotion that you just roll onto the skin. You can fund the ingredients at a craft store.

Easy Lotion Bar

You'll need:
2 ounces beeswax
1 ounce cocoa butter
1 ounce almond oil
fragrance (by the drop, until it is the scent you want)
deodorant tube

With an adult's help, melt the beeswax and cocoa butter in a glass container in the microwave or in a clean pot on the stove. When it is completely melted, remove from heat and add the almond oil. Then add your fragrance. Pour into the deodorant tube and let is et up completely. Rub all over your body after a shower or bath. Now you're ready for bed."

as you know I planted several things and they were doing pretty good! well, then we got lots of rain and then it has been getting REALLY REALLY hot during the day! so...the plants, well, they are just doing! i haven't watered them every single day...but am going to try to water them frequently throughout the day when they need them and then see about someone to water them while we are gone. two of my plants are done with...haha. they got totally drowned during all the storms and I just haven't dealt with trying to get them to live again. so the soil is just sitting out there right now! hehe.
but I am sad because one of the plants that drowned was going to be sooo pretty!

anyway, it takes work, time, and effort to take care of a garden. and it takes eyes to watch when they need a drink. which speaking of that....okay, they are still ok! :] I watered them quite a bit this morning while they were still in shade. so they are still wet. I will probably water them one more time really good today.

I am so excited because tomorrow is our last day of school! =) except on Tuesday of next week I will finish out the rest of my algebra because my mom wants me to have all the lessons for that subject because I won't have that again next year! so...I am very excited.
We are SO SWAMPED with activities this weekend its just crazy! We have tomorrow, the last day of school, possible people coming up to help put together our new swingset, Saturday, we have possible balloon rides at the balloon fest, a birthday party for my little cousin Joseph, a wedding that I am serving at, company coming in so stuff with them that night, then Sunday is church, I do a presentation on all the destruction and the tornado that hit Joplin, and then hanging out with the company coming in, then Monday is Memorial Day and we have plans to go to Jamesport and then all that will happen then! Then the next day is when I will finish up my algebra and then Wednesday is dentist appointments!
All that to say, we are SO BUSY!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Joplin...I am so excited to hopefully be able and go to Joplin and help clean up down there and see my family that lives down there...I just started yesterday wearing a heart on my arm that is for Joplin. I will wear it every single day until I decide not to! I am doing this presentation on Sunday and I am hoping my dad will get it on his I-Phone so I can put it on facebook...I am also hoping to swing by a Michael's this weekend and get a red t-shirt and some silver or blue or both fabric markers and make a shirt saying I<3JOMO...

Anyway, that is a quick update and here are a couple pics and I gotta do some homework! Later friends!

as a lot of you know a mile wide tornado hit Joplin, MO, yesterday evning. it was a terrible storm...we need to pray hard for all the people and pray for the people who are going down there to help! I have family that lives down there...they are doing okay...but we still need to pray!! hard!

I am good! my parents come home TODAY! =) Right now my "aunt and uncle" and my "cousins" are watching us!! we are gonna watch movies and order pizza for supper and just have a fun day! Heyy, everyone! :] how is everyone this beauitful spring day?! I am doing okay. Just got done with my school work and violin! Mom and Dad left about three hours ago and are now up in the sky headed to Tampa, FL, so that Dad can get a observation down there at a cancer center. I don't like it when they have to leave...but we don't want to loose our daddy/husband and so we have to do whatever we can to keep him here on this earth! If its according to God's will of course!

Anyway...on to today's post...

My friend and I decided to go up ino the mountains and go for a picnic. A soon as we got up there and got situated on the blanket we stared at the wonders befre us. From wher we were sitting, I saw a big majectic waterfal cashing against the rocks. The blue sky was perfectly clear with not a puff around. The air was just perfect. Not too cold or too hot. Just perfect. On down, the waterfall turned into a sparkling stream. Just about 1 mile from where we sat there were the magestic mountains. They were blue were blue with snow capped tops and you could see the ruts in the mountains made by brave souls who climbed them. Black birds climbed up into the ky and flew around the mountains. the ree tress at the base of th montain gave a dark green touch around and gave you the feeling of a jungle and destination of glory! It was definitely a gorgeous scene. It is definitely one of my favorite places to sit and watch God's gorgeous creations.

Hey, everyone! =) Time for another one of my fun posts! I was gone from home all day yesterday so sorry I didn't do one of these posts! Today's is on Narnia! Awwww Narnia! =) Doesn't that word just make you want to smile and get some popcorn and join them on their medivial time adventures?! I have watched all three movies and have LOVED them! They are three of my favorite movies! They are filled with awesomely scary but amazing creatures, the beautiful and handsome characters Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy! And then Prince Caspian and Eustace!! This is just one of my favorite series! I plan to read at least some of the books this summer =)

And then Aslan...wow. He is amazing! A GORGEOUS animal and perfect friend....wow! =)

Heyy everyone! Hope your day is going well! Mine is so far! =) I am going to take 8 minutes to write up this blog post really quick!
Today's post is going to be on pop! weird topic you may ask?! Well, I personally LOVE pop! My favorite kind is Dr. Pepper and its always fun to have some! Its refreshing, sweet, and tasty! But, did you know that its not good for you?! awful right?! They make it with this certain kind of sweetner that isn't good for you...its called Hight Fructose Corn Syrup. Now, having some different times a week is alright...but having it every day isn't a good idea. You don't want to ruin your body by having some of it. I haven't had pop for oh a day! I think the last time I had it was Monday maybe...or maybe Sunday. Anyway, we only have two cans left in the house of GT cola and one of the is mine =) I might have it today...or I might wait and have pop tonight at the resteraunt we go to but it saves Dad money if we just get water...and that's another thing.
Pop costs $$ and its better just to get water at a resteraunt or fast food place. Its saves your family money! You can buy a 24 pack and have it at home and not spend as much $!

So, this was a random post I know but lets all try to drink different things this summer and have pop only a few times a week! You may not drink pop at all or you may just not have it in the house and its a treat when you go out to supper and thats fine to =) actually, you may (okay, back to my post, had to go help my brother and then water my plants!) just want to do your own thing but this was just a fun post on pop! And here's a picture-

PS-I just went out to water my plants and I saw that my daisies have already sprouted =) I will keep you posted!

Hello, readers! =) How are you doing today? So far...I am doing okay! I thought I would do this fun post on gardening because that is one of my recent hobbies! =) Well, sorta! I was at target and got very inspired to do some gardening! so I planted-tomatos, watermelon, daisies, and sunflowers! Very weird combination right?! But, anyway! So far I am just misting them with water everyday sometimes two or three times because it has been so hot here! So I really enjoyed planting them! We bought some potting soil...it was so lucious! and looked so good for my seeds to grow in! I will try to post some pictures of my actual stuff but for now-here are some pictures =)

The past two days the weather has been AmAzInG! :) Very warm and beautiful...and today the high is 90 degrees! I am lovin it!!!
I love this time of year where you can run outside in your barefeet and just lay outside in the shade! ;) its a very relaxing and beautiful time of year! it also means that summer is right around the corner and for us, our last day of school is May 27th!
I do have to finish out all of my lessons for Algebra so I wont be done with algebra until like June 1 or so but that is no biggie. And I will continue my violin lessons until I am complete with the course I am taking!
So I am very excited to be done with school...and that is in just about 3 weeks! Yay!
So...what is your favorite things about summer and when do you get out of school?!

Another one of my favorite things is fruit! we eat fruit up around here like it is goin' out of style! and summer means-strawberries, watermelon, cantelope, etc! and that is LOVE for me! One time...I actually accidently ate a whole watermelon by myself! Does that tell you anything about me?!

Lots of questions and thoughts and confusion and frustration run through people's minds all the time...especially when they are going through a storm...
There are a lot of people who are going through all sorts of storms right now. And believe me...I know how it feels! I have been going through a storm for the past year...some months or weeks or days have been a lot better than others but overall me and my family are still going through it...

Recently we have found out that Dad's cancer has returned in his lungs. Actually, it looks as though it could have been there but just hasn't shown up on past CT scans. This was very hard news for my parents...and as soon as I got the phone call and Dad was telling me about it I cried...
Anyway...we just have to think about the fact that God sees all the beautiful blue skies beyond the dark and rainy ones we see at the moment. As one of my favorite groups, The Collingsworth Family, sings "God sees the storm from the other side....".

I know its hard to always feel like you are going to get out of the storm...but remember God will help you and give you the strength and there will be a bright spot in your tunnel.

Hopefully this will give comfort or remind someone of this! =) God IS in control...and God WILL help you get through your storm. Just TRUST Him! Believe me...I am not perfect. Its been hard for me to see God in this storm...so this is just like a note to self as well! =D

Do you ever feel as though school just couldn't get more frustrating and boring....and think about the years ahead of you still full of school and your just not sure your going to make it? I want to succeed at school, do my best, and become a well educated person...but it sure takes work.

Along with school, I am very excited for all that is coming up next week! On Good Friday we have out of town company coming in and then that next Monday I leave for IHC! I am so excited...trust me. I will probably be blogging everyday while I am out there. Or at least I am going to try! :)

For now, I am going to get back to cutting some stuff for a history civics project and the get some sleep...is it already 10:09?! Yes, Luanna, it is...and you need sleep!

My sisters are waiting on me to finish some school related stuff up and yet I would like to write this note here on facebook.
Today I found out that Obama is going to stop funding the space program. And this means that there are only going to be two more flights up to space. This makes me really sad...not only does it mean the excitement of seeing the shuttles go up and watching all the excitement via NASA TV will be gone but it means that astronauts will not be able to go up and continue to do research in space. Right now...Obama is on the high list of ememies =) I don't think its fair to stop funding something so amazing and wonderful! God's creation is SO AMAZING! I was hoping one day I would be able to go to space....please comment and let me know your thoughts toward this...and lets pray that Obama doesn't destroy all of wonderful things we have in this country! Thanks....lil ole Miss NASA!

this week I ordered two posters to hang in my room or my bathroom :) probably my bathroom...:D I am super excited that they came today!!!! I ordered them from AMAZON.com if you look under "paris decor" you can find several cool posters! I fell in love with these!

As you guys already know...I am obsessed (surprised?!) ;) with Paris and other countries like this! The cute aqua car in the Paris one will fit right along with our bathroom :D

Don't get me wrong, the US is beautiful...but there is something about these other countries aross the ocean. They are unique just like our America is unique! I am going to one day tour Europe and all these gorgeous countries...hopefully! :D
