Summer time and all of the activities that come with it....

Mom ordered a new camera on Saturday and soo..I got her old one!! Yeah!! These are some fun pictures and pictures that are my professional pics! Hopefully you will enjoy getting to see them and if you have any questions please comment...The Lefevers stopped by last night and spent the night and will be back next week...Karson and I are now walking buddies because we are going to be taking walks about everyday! We got a brand new pool...some are random like my feet! Just like messing around. Dad got a new Droid (sp) phone free from Ken Lefever..so I got his blackberry!! And the dog and me is Max my uncle and aunt's dog!!! And the picture of the room, well I owe it to a friend for the idea but it is my little place now where I can go and read or paint and listen to music and chill by myself! It is called "Luanna's Spot". Neat, huh??

School!

Guess what, folks?? I am done with school for the year! Well, I still have to finish my book report book, research paper, and continue to do some art and music. Then I am going to read some more in my science book and do some review type things in math. And then every week read a science article and current events type thing once a week and orally tell mom about it. Then that stuff will end this month I am sure...so I will just maybe do some music and art type stuff through the summer. So no more sit down and watch school videos anymore!!!!

Esther and I are sooo excited about Thursday because if plans go, we will be at my Grandma and Grandpa Englunds' and we are going to go over to their church and they have some rooms downstairs with chalkboards and we are going to "teach" some of the things we are going to do like math and science for me! EEEKKK!! I want to be a teacher when I get older, of course!

Well, little update...I am tired and please keep our family in your prayers the next 3 weeks...lots of chemo treatments ahead!

Hey all!

Heyyy, everyone! How is life for you all this week so far? Life is great for me!

Dad had to go to the hospital unexpectedly for his white blood cell count was down. So he was in the hospital from Wednesday night until Saturday noon. Over that period of time we have discussed and figured out that we are going to try and just stop school maybe tomorrow. We have talked with a teacher and he says we are well educated and thinks we can stop right now. This would take a huge burden off us all to get school out of the way and focus on getting dad well and taking care of ourselves. Dad is doing really good and has his head shaved now! Anyway, mom is going to try to talk with A Beka today and see about all of this. So, I am psyched and need to get back to my homework..but just giving you a little update! Have a great day and drink Lipton Lemon Iced Tea! =)

Thought Provoker

In Science, I have these Thought Provokers that I sometimes have to answer. And sometimes they are a bit challenging...but here is one that I answered on my own and mom didn't have to add anything but "Good answer!"

To the materialist, man is no more important that any other part of nature. How does the popularity of abortion show the strong influence of materialism in today's world?

My answer:
Well people kill cows, for example, for beef and not very many people think that's wrong. A cow is a part of nature. To a materialist, if they believe man isn't as important as and other part of nature, they wouldn't think it was wrong to kill an amazing child in the womb. It shows that people must really be nuts in thinking that since it's ok to kill a cow, it must be ok to kill a child because they think man is just as important as a cow. Cows and other things DON'T have souls like babies, children and all ages of MAN have.

Life...these days!

I know it has been a loonngg time since I have done a blog post. =) We have moved and are settled into our temporary home and are enjoying living there. My parents have signed a contract on our house and so now I guess we have to start looking at some houses and thinking about that. I am not really looking forward to moving again..but thankfully we are going to be able to stay at our temp house as long as we need! =) So, maybe a month or more we will be in that same house. I know that this time I won't be able to post pictures because I am on my aunt's computer....but if you are a friend of my mom's on facebook you can see pics of our house. If not, let me know and I can post them on here!

We are also back into doing school..as much as I don't want to do school, I know I need to get a going and get done and look forward to an amazing summer! It is definitely going to be different!
