today I am thankful for my computer...or all of our 7 computers in our house for that matter! and the internet and all that fun, geeky, techy stuff! It can be bad but it can be used for good and fun as well! I have grown up in this environment and know that its not going to stop! its going to keep getting better! I also am sooo thankful for my cellphone! I have not had to pay one cent on it except on the three cases I bought for it! I am so thankful to my aunt and uncle and their willingness to do this for me! it has been a huge blessing! especially like when mom AND dad are gone and I need something etc. its great to have my own personal phone to text or call with. :)

technology is GREAT!

i am thankful today for food! I am hungry. :) so I am looking forward to my grilled turkey and cheese sandwich, a Dr. Pepper (hopefully), some chips, some fruit maybe, etc! sounding really tasty right?
there are some children out there and familes who are starving right now because they can't run upstairs to a pantry FULL of food like I can. so give some money, love, and be thankful!

today I am thankful for my church and my church family! things are a bit rough right now (tooooo many details that I am not going into here) but I hope and pray we can stick together and get through! I love each and every person that comes/goes to our church! they are my 2nd family!

today I am thankful for a lot of things but I am thankful for my bed! it is the best bed...so comfortable and relaxing...:) I am thankful for the roof over my head and a warm place to sleep every night! and clothes, and food, etc! there are some families, kids, etc. who are out there tonight with no where warm or safe to sleep...:(

today was a very good day...especially tonight! ;) ;)

today I am thankful my dad is still here with us. :) most of you have heard that on March 20, 2010, our lives were changed...forever. my dad's leg broke and then found out it had cancer in it and to get rid of it, they have to amputate his whole right leg. now the cancer has come back into his lungs and he just finished chemo for that. he is done now and will just have CT scans every 3 months and they are just going to be monitoring the hopefully shrinking tumors! the last scan he had was showing that they really didn't do much but some inflammation that was in his lungs had gone down...and a doctor my aunt talked to (who is actually a cousin of Obama :O ) said that that because they didn't show a lot of signs of shrinking or growing that maybe they were in a process of dying.

anyway, I am very thankful that he is still here with us! and I hope God allows him to stay for still a long long time....:)
thanks dad for being who you are! I know this has been the hardest on you these past months...but I wouldn't be who I am without you and mom.

I love you Dad!


I am also very thankful for my mom! she does so much around here for us kids...she teaches, cleans, does laundry, takes care of us, cooks, etc, etc, etc!!! I love you Mom!! thank you for everything you do for us!!! I know its been so hard for you through all this and yet you still keep on keeping on and being here for us! thank youu!! I wouldn't be the person I am without you.

I wouldn't be here without either of you! so thank you very much for that too! and raising me up! :)
