I am going to try a challenge....to post every day for a week!!! they may be short, they may be long....but i am really going to try!!! =) so by next Thursday, hopefully I will have posted every single day about something!!!
today I want to share with you guys a free verse that I wrote-
I love...
The smell of rain during or after a rainstorm like a huge candle that freshens the earth.
The claps of thunder that make me jump and then laugh.
The beautiful pictures God paints with the calming sunsets and billowing, huge, white clouds.
And the springtime bliss of feeling the wind and hearing the robins chirp through my windows.

We are about to finish up a whole unit on beauty in Literature....and it has officially probably been my favorite unit so far. I have absolutely loved it!! :) here is a poem that we read:

Life has loveliness to sell,
All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fire that sways and sings,
And children's faces looking up
Holding wonder like a cup.
Life has loveliness to sell,
Music like a curve of gold,
Scent of pine trees in the rain,
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
